Hi there! Thanks for joining me!

Today's card is a belated birthday card for one of my customers turned friend's birthday. It took me so long to finally drop it by with her gift I might as well waited for her next birthday! Duh!

*I used a scrap of Regal Rose card stock stamped with the Always in Bloom Standard Size Wheel using Pumpkin Pie ink and matted it on Pumpkin Pie card stock.
* Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon was tied around the bottom and tied into a knot then the panel was adhered to card.
*I punched the negative image of a Pumpkin Pie Die Cut Flower with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and adhered it to a piece of Whisper White card stock punched with the Scallop Circle Punch and adhered with a Dimensional.
*The final touch is a Rhinestone Sticker from Colobok picked up at the Scrapbook Expo

Stamps:
Always in Bloom Wheel
Ink: Pumpkin Pie

*Next I used my Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Marker and the Color Spritzer Tool and spritzed some speckles in the background.
*The I inked up the tree from the Season of Friendship stamp set in Soft Suede and added leaves in Old Olive.
*I used some buttons from the Fresh Favorites II collection and adhered them using Mini Glue Dots.
*The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede and is from the All Holidays stamp set on Very Vanilla and the end is punched with the 3/4" Square Punch to make the notch.
*I adhered it with Mini Glue Dots, popping it up to look like a fluttering banner.

The More the Merrier

Hey there stampers! Glad you stopped by to visit!

Today's card is a Christmas card! I know it's only August but it will be December before you know it so I thought what they hey! I used the More the Merrier Hostess level 3 stamp set for this card along with Karen's awesome sketch #29!

I made my card by cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock to 9"x 8" and folded it in half so it fits perfectly in a business size envelope. I stamped the snowflake image from the Season of Friendship stamp set (#111776)in White Craft ink(#101731) randomly on the Kraft card base.
Next I stamped the snowmen from from the Hostess set The More the Merrier in Jet Black Stazon ink (#101406). I colored them in with Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise and Bermuda Bay Markers and added torn strips of Whisper White card stock, went along the edge with my 2-Way Glue Pen(#100425) and added Dazzling Diamonds(#102023). I matted the snowmen on Basic Black card stock(#102851) and then added it to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock (#115317)with strips of Tempting Turquoise card stock (#102067). The sentiment is stamped in Jet Black Stazon as well and mounted on a mat of Basic Black and popped up on Dimensionals (#104430). The final touch is a White Metal snowman I picked up in the clearance bin at the Eyelet Outlet booth at the Scrapbook Expo a couple months ago.
So whatcha think? Make you want to drink hot cocoa and sing carols? Me neither but I like the card!! ;)
Hope you are having a terrific day!

Another Opus Gluei Challenge Card!

Hey there Stampers! How are you?

Today's card uses a fun technique called Faux Metal you- can find the tutorial HERE.
I started out with a Whisper White Card stock base (#100730) and added a panel of Basic Gray card stock (#108692)stamped with the nuts and bolts image in Versamark Ink (#102283) from the Lots of Bots stamp set (#115293) and a panel of Old Olive DSP (#112160). I stamped the robot and the nuts and bolts stamps following the Faux Metal technique. I matted the robot on Basic Black card stock (#102851)and added Silver Brads (#104336) using my 1/16" Handheld Punch (#101227). I punched the Faux Metal nuts and bolts with my 1/2" Circle Punch (#104390) and matted it on Basic Black punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch (#107217).

The result is super neat even if my balloon didn't quite turn out ;)

Have a super day!

Forest Friends

Hi there! Happy you stopped by today!

Today's card uses Taylor's Cupcake Challenge Sketch and the Forest Friends stamp set. Taylor's sketch was so easy to use that I used it twice already!

I started out with a Whisper White card stock (#100730) base, added a panel of Sage Shadow card stock (#101563) and a square of To the Nines Specialty DSP (#114038). I cut out a circle of Whisper White card stock using my (retired) Coluzzle and used my SU Markers to ink up my images from the Forest Friends stamp set (#113748). I cut out the owl and bunny images and popped them up on Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from the Pocket Sihouettes stamp set (#111672) as is the flowery image along the bottom of the card. I used Sage Shadow ink (#102532) for the flower image and Chocolate Chip ink (#100908) for the sentiment. I punched it out with the Word Window punch (#105090) and layered it on a piece of To the Nines Specialty DSP punched with the Modern Label Punch (#116630).

Aren't the Forest Friends so dang cute?!

Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great day!

Opus Gluei Extreme Surf

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card uses a new stamp called Extreme Surfboard (#115173) and it's so easy to use and makes for a nice guy card I think :) It also qualifies for the Opus Gluei challenge of the week to use metal!

I started with a Whisper White card base added some Old Olive DSP (#112160) and Basic Black card stock (#102851). I stamped my image in Versamark ink (#102283)on Whisper white card stock and embossed it using Black Embossing Powder (#109133) and my Heat Tool (#100005). I matted it on a piece of Basic Gray card stock (#108692) and added a strip of Basic Black card stock and circles of left over Silver Embossed (#109131) WW card stock punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch (#107217). I stamped the sentiment from the Wow Flowers stamp set (#111714) in Basic Black ink (#101179), punched it out with the Word Window Punch (#105090) and layered it on Basic Gray punched with the Modern Label Punch (#116630).
I love the combination of the Word Window and Modern Label Punches-they work so well together! So what do you think? I'd love to hear!
Take care and hope to see you back again soon!

Pumpkin Pick A Petal

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

I had a chance to stamp almost all day on Friday so I got a few challenges done and tried a few new things. It was such fun and I still was able to make dinner, pick up the house and do a couple loads of laundry in between!

This card uses my poor neglected Pick A Petal stamp set and one I newly acquired that I've been wanting for ages, Stem Sayings. I also used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge for this week.

I started with a Whisper White (#100730) card base and added a mat of Pumpkin Pie cardstock (#105117). Next I added a square of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (#115675) and stamped the greeting from the Stem Sayings stamp set (#115078) in Jet Black Stazon ink (#101406). I stamped the polka dot petal image from the Pick A Petal stamp set (#115042)in Pumpkin Pie Ink (#105216) on Whisper White cardstock and then added the loopy petal image in Jet Black Stazon Ink. I cut each petal out (didn't take as long as I thought!) and adhered them to the center with a Dimensional and some Snail. I stamped the center flower in Rich Razzleberry ink (#115658) and then stamped off and did it again giving me a darker and a lighter version of the same color. I cut those out, punched them with my 1/16" Hole Punch (#101227) and added a Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad (#109110) to the center and adhered it to my flower using Mini Glue Dots (#103683).
The lighting wasn't great when I took this picture but you get the idea. :)
Hope you are having a terrific day! Come back again to visit soon!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
